THE OLD THATCH
Rebranding an award-winning Pub, Kitchen & Country Store
Branding, Logo Design & Signage
An award-winning Pub, Kitchen & Country Store, nestled in the heart of Stapehill, Wimborne
The Old Thatch re-brand has helped take the pub to the next level with a transformation into an elegant gastropub. Featuring a "fresh and foraged" pub menu, a great array of beers and wines and its new Stapehill Store & Bakery.
The brand wanted to be perceived towards the higher end of the local market, whilst incorporating the new look across other internal ventures/sub-brands. I worked with the team on the new branding direction that has seen an altogether clearer message seen across the whole business and assets.
Our venue needed a complete rebrand and Danny has delivered in every way we could have imagined. Together we have aligned our brand, with the business strategy and our vision.
NICK PESTANA
OWNER, THE OLD THATCH
Led by Nick Pestana & Andy Lennox, The Old Thatch is nestled in Stapehill, Wimborne, Dorset, a 17th-century pub which sits right opposite historic Stapehill Abbey and just off the famous Castleman's Trailway and which links Wimborne to Ferndown and Ringwood to Poole via the old train way.
As part of the rebrand, I worked on a number of graphic marks to be used and a complete menu design for the restaurant.
Whilst producing a new look for The Old Thatch, the client needed to incorporate the new branding across other internal ventures/sub-brands such as the new Stapehill Stores & Bakery.
